Featuring an intricate green terra-cotta facade and large copper-framed windows, the 10-story boutique Fitzroy features 14 half and full floor homes designed inside and out by Roman and Williams. The building is well-detailed, and emulates a serious weightiness and commitment to bring character and craft to new development.

The Fitzroy's palette and materials are about elevating and articulating that sense of contrast, the nourishing, ripe green of the park and river versus the grit of the city.
In a neighborhood known for its futurist expressions of form along the High Line, the Fitzroy embodies a return to the art and craft of building. The process of creating individual terracotta blocks for The Fitzroy facade involved a laborious human-touch process: molding, scraping, carving, glazing, and baking.
