In the News: Up on the Skybridge

The American Copper Buildings’ skybridge has officially opened with a robust suite of luxury amenities on Manhattan’s East Side. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS Development Group, the 60,000-square foot, three-story skybridge links the dancing copper towers, a high-end rental project alongside the East River in Murray Hill. Inside, the skybridge houses a 75-foot lap pool, hot tub, residents’ lounge, Turkish-style marble hammam, double-height fitness center, rock wall, yoga and Pilates studios, and private treatment rooms. What’s more, the skybridge was a logical solution to create connectivity and community between the two buildings.
